As the Christian Body, we are going to have to become more Biblically sound, and be more spiritually grounded.

We must learn to understand the Word and know the Word of God. Study to show ourselves approved unto God (2 Timothy 2:15). Too many people buy into so many bad prophecies because they do not know the everlasting word well enough to recognize when it is off base. Then after a while they become disillusioned about God and His kingdom. That is why I am writing about the way I learned about prophecy, the voice of God, and His will for the Body of Christ.

I'm hoping that many will learn and come to a better understanding of God's will, call, and gifts in their life.

The Office of a Prophet and the Gift of Prophecy

      An important distinction to make that I think is being blurred is the gift of prophecy as opposed to the office of being a prophet. In fact that may be the worst mistake being made of a calling a man or women 'prophet' who is only moving in the gift of prophecy, but is not called to the office. I cannot think of anyone in the New Testament that exhibits the office of prophet, but to me that is not a problem. The fault lies with us in thinking that this is a New Testament dispensation that therefore requires another definition. If there is only one definition, however, and it is and has been in existence for all time, though we have not seen it in recent times, then it is no reason to look for a new kind.

The difference between the gift of prophecy and the office of prophet is a very important point. We would be wrong to say that anyone who prophesies is a prophet. The Spirit of God is dividing severally His gifts, which God can give in a moment as He wills. That should not, however, be a permanent and abiding distinction or designation. The Spirit of God can fall on any one of us and we can prophesy. We are operating by the Spirit in the gift of prophecy. The gift is something that the Spirit exercises at His will, and it can come from a man or a woman. It has nothing to do with their calling, their training, their preparation or their qualification. The true prophetic word breaks down and builds up. It plucks up the old and plants the new within our hearts and souls. It get us ready for the move of God and releases the power to accomplish it. Right now, we have seen too little of it.

Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

        The office of prophet differs from the gift of prophecy in that it is permanent. It is not given with the man or woman by the Hand of God. It is a calling, and it may well be that men or woman, who have the office of prophet, can go an entire lifetime in their service and never once speak out of the gift of prophecy, and yet still be functioning in their office. The church today is suffering from the ignorance of blurring these two categories. We are calling men and women prophets who have not the office, but who are operating in the gift of prophecy, and in many instances not even the gift of prophecy, but the gift of knowledge of a rather deceitful clairvoyance. We really need to be clear, therefore, on what we are saying.

       The office of prophet is the ultimate thing and carries an enormous responsibility. Such a one brings the oracles of God. He is standing for very God and speaking from God with the authority of God in a troubled and rebellious generation. His statements are the statements of God's heart to His people that have to do with His purposes in an understanding of the present time in view of the things that are future and eternal. It is the prophet who is alerted. He/she interprets the event and communicates that interpretation to a church that would otherwise have passed it over. That is his/her function and that is his call for which he is not necessarily going to be understood nor heard. The word is more often than not going to be rejected and his life is going to be threatened.

         You find in the Old And New Testament God talks to His people but do the People have a ear to hear, that is the question for today? It 's a Question I had to asked myself over and over again until I found the answer. 

I prayed for a word from the Lord Jesus starting has a small child because I lost my father at 11 1/2 years old and my mother few years later. I found myself at a very young age running the farm and going to school. You see I was raised on a farm and lost my whole world when my father passed away. I saw the ugliness of Jealousy and greed from my own family. However, that is total a difference story that I still see in a many of families today.

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

When I became Born Again I never knew about callings and gifts. I had been taught religion and tradition as a young girl. Even parents probably had no idea about that part of coming to know Jesus. So as I started to push into the word I needed to know more about the Kingdom of God.

I prayed for a word from the Lord Jesus about the calling and gifts - I suppose to walk in, not knowing what direction I was suppose to do or go into. I was very  confuse many times, always hoping for a Word from the Lord.

At first, I heard only a still small voice, or just a whisper saying I have called you to be a nurse in my kingdom. My question was - what does that mean? Which I will explain little later on. In the world I was CNA a little over twenty years of my life. Little did I know this was my training ground since a small child to an adult with sickness, disease, and death. I have taken care the adults, elderly. children and teens that were abuse in one way or another

Some people called me a prophet, but yet I don't feel like a prophet for God. Yes, I have been baptized with a special kind of fire from the Lord. A fire that burns deep within my body and makes turn like a red apple upon my skin . When the Lord Jesus manifest himself upon face to His children. This is to let people know that He is now presence with His power and anointing as well as speaking to me about what is their hearts or even minds at times.

1 Kings 19:12  And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.  1 Kings 19:13   And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

What's a prophets responsibly for God?

Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

     Many of times the Word of God becomes clear at night, sometimes only a part of a word or dream but every time I prayed, the voice becomes loud, and what I see in the hearts of people, face, eyes, or even written on their forehead becomes so real to me. It is like written words on a piece of paper, but no else can see them. I noticed that for some reason the people become scare of what I see within their hearts, maybe because of sin or high-mind ness - I really don't know at times.

1 Cor 14:25    And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

  There are times, by the Holy Spirit, they become stubborn with an Pharaoh's heart that would become full of pride, unrepentive, and offended with the Word from the Lord. With this kind of a heart within the person, you can't really help them. What people don't understand is they are coming against the Spirit of the Lord - not me!

Just like Pharaoh, or Amanitas and Sapphira lost their lives, others fell under the curses of God because of disobedience. instead of listening to the Voice of God within their hearts, they follow their ways. Prov 29:1   He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Prov 6:14 Forwardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
Calamity means - deep trouble or misery, any great misfortune that brings loss and suffering - disaster  Remedy means mederi, to heal  1- any medicines or treatment that cures or relieves a disease or tends to restore health  @- something that corrects or removes an evil or wrong or that help makes things better
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:   17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,   19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

         If you check in the Bible and read about the specific ministries God gives to the church with the Body of Christ. These are called the fivefold ministries.

Eph 4:11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;   12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:   13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
      As I looked around, I see many apostles here in the states and overseas. I know a true apostle are suppose to provided spiritual leadership, pastors who are to proclaimed the word, Evangelist  are the ones who preached to the unsaved, and teachers who built up the Body of Christ. But where are the prophets?

        If you want to read about them in the old testament, great prophets and prophetess like Miriam, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, and Joel who listen to the voice of the Lord. Read Pastor Michael's book about What the Scriptures say About Women.  New testament, speaks of the prophets and prophetess in the church, but many don't understand you need hear the Voice of God. This is where I realized a prophet can't be taught anything by man or women, only by the voice of the Lord will understand the workings of the Lord.

Dan 10:2  In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.  3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.  4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;   5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.  7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.   8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.   9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.   10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.   12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
           I firmly believe that all believers - God desires that the voice of God to flow in you and through You. However, you must be an prepared vessel of God to become a hearer and the voice of God.

Acts 2:17   And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:   18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:     Check out Joel 2:28 also!

           Please understand that I had no desire to become a prophetess. Infact, to this very day I get scare because I don't want to be something I am not nor do I want to say something wrong. There are so many out there giving a false word or hope - who are not really hearing from God. The word prophet itself makes people think that someone is self-appointed and attempting to gain stature, money, or fame in the church. In some cases, that you are a Doctor-fix-it, only the Lord Jesus can fix problems within your life.

           Again, many false prophets of God don't want to help and love people. The false prophets of God have their hearts set on fame and glory, not what God wants for His people. All I know for sure is the calling of God gave to me, was to be an nurse for Him. What that really means I really don't know, but scripturally.

Rom 12:8   Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Matt 5:7     Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.   8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.   9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.   10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

          Now! don't misunderstand that I don't make mistakes. I make a lot of them but I always tried to learn from my mistakes. There are great many prophets today through out the World, and the true prophet are vessels of honor, that really hear the voice of God.  Check Pastor Michael's DVD called - Integrity. Every believe will surely come to understand the sound of the Voice of God. Because the words they speak  for God will leave with an questioning word within your heart but at the same time a peace that can't be explain by words of man or woman. This might be only way the Lord may speak to you directly. That's why you must understand the importance of a prophet today. I firmly believe that God desires that the His voice to flow to you and through you, but you must not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.


Eph 4:30    And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.   31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:      32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
 

1 Thess 5:19-24 Quench not the Spirit.   20 Despise not prophesyings.   21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.    22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.    23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.    24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
         When I accepted God 's special call on my life, I began to see the great things that God was going to do in using the gifts of God. After 20 years of being CNA in the World. Seeing people that lived in pain, sickness, disease, plus all the dieing people I took care of and witness death after death. It was like a new hope, a breath of fresh air for all these people trap in the snare of the devil, who was taken captive by him at his will for me. Read 2 Timothy 2:20-26

Heb 2:14   Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;     15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
         I could really see them being heal, change, and deliver. I could visualized myself speaking the truth to the people of all ages and nations, that they would find repentance, converted, healing, deliverance, and miracles within the lives of people, children, and teens.          However, until India 2002, it wasn't reality to me! Than God became a very loud voice to me and tugged on my heart even more then before. January 31, 2008 - I'm being told to stop running from gift and calling, that is time to exercise my gift. I must tell you a little secret - this is not the first time I have heard this voice of God within my heart tugging at me. I have always pull away in fear on different occasions. The rejection, angry, jealousy has made me turn away from the voice of God. So many times people with an deaf ear from the truth as made me stop moving in the gift if God.

        Look what happened to Joseph while he was in prison? God gave him the gift of interpreting dreams and visions before Joseph approached the Pharaoh. Joseph exercised his prophets unction on the Pharaoh's chief butler and baker. Joseph interpreted each man's dreams and God's Word through Joseph came to pass within 3 Years.  Two Years later Pharaoh had a dream and sent for Joseph (Genesis 4:15).  You can not become a Voice for God unless your tried and tested by God. The authority and power you received  comes from God Almighty. You as a repentived Born Again Christian is given the authority (Genesis 1:26) but the power comes from God.

Ps 62:10   Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.   11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.   12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

Zech 4: 6    Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
 

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

             Joseph never said it was his power but God's Power and God would provide the answer for any question. But none of this would of come to pass if he would not remain in prayer and obedience. to this day, I don't know how Joseph had to rely on inner strength from God that he may be aware of the rough conditions of living in a prison day by day. Never the less Joseph succeeded to pass the test with God no matter how hard it was for him in that prison.  Not only did Joseph become the voice of the Lord but also he was released form prison and made second in charge over all of Egypt, answering only to the King.

Gen 41:41  And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;  43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.   44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

              Now!  In the beginning God's Voice was heard in the garden of Eden. Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. God spoke it unto existence. God created the earth, vegetation, animal life, the mist, Adam and Eve. Whatever God said came to passed and God created man with His breath.
Gen 2:7    And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 1:28   And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

            God's basic principles of prophecy is that God's voice creates a new direction, reveals any sin, roots out problems to destroy the devil's plan. He will supply us with direction, knowledge, wisdom, guidance, and a calling that we do not possess. Hopefully, the character of god can become form with us which is know as the fruit of the spirit. The more we hear from God, the more familiar His Voice will become to you. You see the voice of God can become a warm and loving but if you fall into sin according to Genesis 3:10, you will become afraid of God.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.   9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. God was talking directly to Adam And Eve. Maybe if they would of admitted what they did wrong instead of justifying themselves. Maybe God wouldn't of drove them out of the garden of Eden, but we will never know.

Gen 3:23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.  24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

            Just remember the prophetic ministry is a ministry of hope and change. It presents a divine revelation of God's hope for us in the times ahead. God simply tells you what He wants for your future and departs by using a prophet or prophetess. God has the power to do whatever He chooses, but he has given much of the responsibility to us. When God chooses to speak to His people, many times He reveals His plans first to a Prophet or Prophetess.

Every thing becomes a choice, You must decide whether you want a word from God or go on doing what your doing. You can tell  I have no great speaking or writing abilities but I speak the words the way it is.
